Halloween Update: New Info Leaked

Notch was interviewed by PC gamer magazine, and he leaked more info on the Halloween update to them

yea i saw this before, it looks sick. thanks for posting the info here so other people can see it.

i personally think that the combination of the flying fire-shooting thingies and the blocks that stay on fire will make hell impossible to build a house in and practically impossible to travel safely in..seems awesome haha

Yeah the Ghasts are going to make Hell even more of a challenge. There goes my idea of having a small base down there :/ But at least we can make our own portals. That was one of my concerns, because I thought that they would be randomly spawned in the world and you would have to find them. This makes things a little bit easier.

As for the new block types, well the only thing I know about is the eternally burning block. It'll be interesting to see the other new types and what they're used for. Hopefully we can find some use for them to enhance our town.

Theres also blood stone AKA mossy cobblestone but red and theres Blood gravel theres also a block that takess 45 seconds to mine with diamond pick thats un breakable besides a pick axe

Obsidian is only mine-able with a Diamond Pick Axe. Only, it just takes 15 seconds to mine.
